outgoing smtp problem
I am having problems when I send emails with Outlook 2007. Sometimes they go and somtimes they don't. I have checked the settings and I am sure they are correct. My operating system is Windows 7 and my ISP is Orange. Can anyone help?

if sometimes they go and sometimes they don't, then the implication is the settings are OK but something else is wrong
when you say they "don't go" do they leave yoru machine and not arrive? Or are they simply not leaving the machine?
Is there any trend to the ones that fail: are they to specific people? Or do they have attachments?
Have you checked with the recipients to make sure the e-mail addresses are valid?

For those that do not go, do they NEVER go, or not go immediately? IIRC Windows Mail only sends mail every x minutes ( where x can be as long as 30). Check the settings, you may be able to change this.
