RE: Problem
Exactly what are we talking about here, John? Is this problem confined to a particular program or does it happen with anything in Windows?

RE: Problem
Hi
As suggested by Jon Stagg have you checked the keyboard.
Try to unplug the keyboard and restart the computer and plug it back again.
Please let us know.

RE: Problem
Yes it is a laptop, the keyboard seems to work as when I try to log onto a site it will start loading the site for a second and then stop and I will get the message"stopped" appear in the bottom left of the screen, as though something was blocking the site / drop down etc from coming up.

RE: Problem
As it is a laptop, can you find/borrow a standard PC keyboard and plug that into your laptop and use that. Then see if the problem goes away. If so, it suggests that there is a problem with your keyboard. Have you spilled anything on it? Most laptop keyboards are not too difficult to replace, and are relatively cheap, as long as it is the keyboard itself that has a problem. If it is the controller chip, that gets expensive.

RE: Problem
you say "when I try to log onto a site it will start loading the site" yet "I am not even able to log on to my computer as when I get asked for my password I cannot enter anything "
If you cannot get into windows how can you be attempting to log into a site?

RE: Problem
