Sleep

When I leave my computer running for more than 10 minutes it goes into sleep mode, and I cant wake it up. The only thing I can do is to press the power switch and reboot. Is there another way to wake it? It is a HP Pavillion, MediaVersion. Thank you.

RE: Sleep

You can adjust the sleep settings in Control Panel/Power Options. If you don't want it to sleep so quickly, change the time from 10 minutes to 30 or 60.

If it does go to sleep, you should be able to just press the power button and it should come back to life.

RE: Sleep

On some computers with some versions of Windows the sleep function just does not work properly. You might be forced to disable sleep if you are in this situation.
