packard bell easynote mz36-t-015 my daughters laptop hinge has jammed and lid cover cracked.i have been trying to find replacemnets but no luck. i contacted packard bell but no reply from them. does someone know were i can get the hinges and screen lid cover from? and do you know if there are straight froward to replace.

Parts for older machines are not always easy to find. One good source is Ebay, but check the condition carefully. In some cases, the parts are used in more than one model, so you may find that the lid from a similar model will also fit, but you need to check carefully.

Fitting is fairly straightforward, but you do need to know which screws to remove, and some of them are very small, and can easily be lost.
