Removal of Motherboard from Advent 8117 laptop.

Have removed all of the screws from MB,but still seems to be stuck along the socket side of MB.Any ideas?

If you could log in there you'd get all the tech documents you need..........but ECS ignore all requests for access to the site

Just guessing. Is the VGA connector that side of the machine? Check if you need to remove the threaded nuts which hold the VGA cable. Sometimes they pass through a metal plate which is part of the case.
