packard bell bleeps and screen doesnt show anything

Hi when i turn my pc it just beeps every five secs and screen stays black any help would be so much appreciated thanks for reading.x

The beeps have a meaning. If you listen carefully there will be a pattern, it may be short and long beeps or it may be some beeps, pause, some more beeps.If you count the beeps, the code can be looked up and it will tell you what the problem is. It may be a loose or faulty memory chip, or it may be something more serious.

Also tell us exactly which Packard Bell machine you have, i.e. the model number, so that we can look it up. The beep codes sometimes vary by machine.

Hi sorry the bleeps are short bleeps all the same and about five seconds apart too

are the beeps in patterns / groups? How many in a group? Are they long or short? Its like a repeating morse code, and we need to know what the repeating pattern is
