hi i have an advent hd5721 model i lost connection to the interne due my isp being off ine now they are back on i had to reboot to get things working again. how ever i could not get connected i callae my isp virgin and they went through every thing with me but nothing works. all connectiona sre unavailable they say it is a fault with the computer can you help please have given my partners number as he will be at home

"reboot the machine" simply means turn it off and back on. I suspect you mean something else: have you wiped and reloaded the software on the computer? Also HD5721 appears to be the name of a monitor, not the name of a computer

One thing that is worth trying, whether you are on Virgin cable or Virgin ADSL. Turn off your cable modem/router. Leave it off for 30-45 seconds, then turn it on again. That should make it reconnect to the network.
