Our computer was in a bad way and I couldn't have wished for anybody better. Michael was quick, efficient and didn't leave until he was sure that everything was working properly.

Michael arrived on time and tried a number of procedures to install my wireless router.Though he was unsuccessful he explained step by step what he was doing and some possible reasons why the router wouldn't operate. I was fully satisfied with the service eventhough I still have no wireless capability.

RE: Windows activation

When I've had this problem in the past I've booted to Safe Mode and installed Windows XP SP1a and SP3. That should sort the problem.

RE: Plan to buy Asus N73 JN. Itcomes with windows home premium operating system. Can i upgrade to Window

My twopennorth on laptops is to never buy any make beginning with "A". (Acer, Asus, Advent) With a hefty budget of £800 - £1000 you should be able to get a decent Sony Vaio or high-end Toshiba.

RE: Recovery disc

Samuel You have also by now installed a reputable anti-virus programme, of course. And hopefully the cost of an IT Pro sorting the issue for £40 seems remarkably good value!

We offer fast, friendly and efficient computer repairs, maintenance and support within Lancashire.

We support home and business users, with same day call-outs generally available.

We'll tell you the solution, not try to explain the problem.

One of our most popular business services is a Monthly Support Contract. This is exceptionally flexible, allowing you to choose how many on-site hours support you would require each month.

Benefits include:
- only a 3 month minimum contract period
- changes or cancellation with one month's notice
- reduced hourly rate for contracted hours
- no call out fee for non-contracted hours
- telephone and/or remote support options
