We have three permanent specialists and many associates who are technically trained and certified. We can supply and install PCs, Microsoft Windows Servers, Microsoft Exchange Email Servers, Peripherals, Networking Equipment, Internet Access and Voice over IP Telephones.

Safety and Security

The workplace should be ergonomically designed so that you and your workforce are comfortable and relaxed. This may take the form of adapted desks, seating, air conditioning and heating, positioning of monitors to avoid screen glare from windows or lighting, avoidance of trip hazards from cables etc.

The equipment itself also needs protecting from excessive heat, electrical interference or accidental damage and we will help you with office layout to optimise conditions.

Systems will also need protection from other hazards such as viruses, cyber-theft and theft. Your data should be fully backed up to protect against physical disasters such as spontaneous equipment failure, fire, flood and theft. We will advise on systems and procedures to protect against all risks.

Equally important is training and encouragement so that your staff feel confident working knowing that friendly help is at hand should things go wrong.

The Services

Pay-as-you-Go – We have teams of engineers who are available to deal with one-off incidents on site. There may be a charge for call-out depending on location and the rapidity of response you require.

Contract Support and Maintenance Cover – Our tailor made agreements provide comprehensive breakdown cover for your equipment and cover replacement parts and temporary loan equipment where possible. You can call our technical support staff at any reasonable time for help with operational issues. We can also access your system remotely to troubleshoot your problem for a faster resolution. If necessary an engineer will be assigned to deal with the problem on site.

Our response will be flexible determined by the nature of the problem you have. Minor problems causing minor inconvenience may be dealt with after the office closes. Major problems will be handled with appropriate high priority. We will agree the proposed action with you.

Advice and guidance on future developments – This is normally given freely either by phone or by personal visit. We encourage you to use us as a sounding board for your ideas. If the project will involve us in extensive research we may charge for our consultancy by agreement.

Our People

Bob Smith – The founding member of our company specialises in many disciplines including Microsoft Exchange email, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, Cisco networking, mobile email including iPhone, Blackberry and Windows Mobile. Bob qualifications include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Cisco Sales Associate.

Martin Schultz – After graduating as an MSc in Computer Science from UCL in 1983, Martin has worked for a number of large corporate firms such as CEGB, F Hoffmann La Roche, ICL and BT. He has a background in Industrial Process Control, Network Management, Unix, MS Windows and various Relational Database Technologies such as Oracle. Martin has a reputation for troubleshooting awkward problems and finding the solution speedily. He also specialises in Windows Small Business Server, Watchguard Firewalls and general PC Support and maintenance.

Barry Dinmore – Formerly a senior manager for Siebe covering Commercial Management, Accountancy and IT, Barry then spent many years as a successful Consultant working for Centrica, BT, British Gas and ICL. He specialised in Project Managing multi-million pound projects and has vast experience of a wide range of commercial and technical issues. Since joining our company Barry has successfully planned and executed many office moves and upgrades for our clients, as well as using his technical expertise in customer support.
